This intractable will instruct you on how to build the game ladder ball. This game can be used to tailgate at football games, or even just play when hanging out with some of your friends.

Step 1: Materials

- First you need to cut 10 pieces of PVC pipe to 12 inches. You will have to measure out 12 inches and then cut each one.

- Next your going to have to do the same things but cut 5 pieces of PVC pipe to 24 inches. Once you have this done, you will be all set to start creating the Ladder Ball

Step 2: Connecting the Base

1. Connect the 90 degree elbow to one of the 24 inch PVC Pipe

2. On the other side of the 24 inch PVC pipe put another 90 degree elbow

3. On both of the remaining outlets of the 90 degree elbows attach 12 inch PVC pipes

4. On the ends of the 12 inch PVC pipes put Tee fittings

5. Connected to the Tee’s put another 12 inch PVC pipe

6. At both ends of the 12 inch PVC pipe put 90 degree elbows

7. To make a perfect square put a 24 inch PVC pipe to connect it all together

Step 3: Connecting the Ladder

1. Connect the 90 degree elbow to one of the 24 inch PVC Pipe

2. On the other side of the 24 inch PVC pipe put another 90 degree elbow

3. On both of the remaining outlets of the 90 degree elbows attach 12 inch PVC pipes

4. On the ends of the 12 inch PVC pipes put Tee fittings

5. Connected to the Tee’s put another 12 inch PVC pipe

6. At both ends of the 12 inch PVC pipe put 90 degree elbows

7. To make a perfect square put a 24 inch PVC pipe to connect it all together

Step 4: Connecting It All Together

1. Fill the base with sand to weigh it down

2. Connect the base with main part of the ladder

Step 5: How to Create the Balls for Ladder Ball

1. Cut two holes on either side of the tennis ball using a sharp blade

2. Put rope through each hole

3. Once through the hole do the same to another tennis ball

4. Make the distance between each tennis ball 13 inches

5. Tie a slip knot on both ends of the ball then burn off the extra rope

6. To secure knots, put hot glue on the knots to make it tighter

Step 6: How to Burn the Rope to the Tennis Ball

1. Take a lighter and burn the end of the rope. - Wait for it to be melted

2. Blow out the flame and spin the end before it cools down

3. Once completely cooled down trim the end of the rope to complete this process

Step 7: What Was Added to Make Ladder Ball Better

To make the ladder ball game better, sturdier and more fun we added a back drop to the back of the ladder that attaches into the base. The back drop makes the ladder more stable and allows for less error when playing the game. The back drop also keeps the ladder from wobbling when the balls are thrown on to it.
