Hello there! Welcome to my first Instructable. I really like dreamcatchers because of their folklore. In case you don't know the folklore, I'll tell you. The myth says that bad dreams get caught in the web. However, good dreams pass through the web, down through the feathers, and into your head. When the sun comes up, the bad dreams dissolve. Now, enough talking, lets get to the Instructable! I am only 12, so please let me know if you have any suggestions to improve my Instuctables. If you have request for a certain project, just let me know!

Step 1: Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

I will sort needed supplies and optional supplies into two different groups

Needed supplies:

something to wrap the ring with

emboridery hoop or metal craft hoop

scissors

feathers

something to weave the web with

Optional supplies:

hot glue

hot glue gun

beads

charms

Step 2: Step 2: Wraping the Hoop

What you will need to do first is tie or hot glue the end of the ribbon to your hoop, and start wrapping your hoop. One of the things you will want to avoid is not cutting enough ribbon. If this happens to you, use a paper clamp to clamp down the ribbon and either glue or tie another piece of ribbon down and continue to wrap. Make sure to have some ribbon left over for the loop to hang it on things.

Step 3: Step 3: Making the Web

Next, you will tie your string for the web, and do a kind of zigzag or star sort of pattern. Along the way, you can add beads or charms.

Step 4: Step 4: Putting on Strings and Feathers

Grab your string and tie or glue it to the bottom of the dreamcatcher and trim it to your desired length. Along the way, you can hot glue some beads. Lastly, tie on the feathers and add on beads and charms.

Step 5: Step 5: Hang It Up on the Wall and Enjoy!!
