This is a clever activity, but I'm disappointed to see the questions of interested folks go unanswered for months. For any activity, there should be information on where to buy these items--lots of assumptions by the individual who made the video. If you can't find the materials or you don't know where to actually shop for a motor, switch etc, then this activity is not doable. I've been googling to find these materials as well & the only place I can find is amazon. They sell the motors, switches, gears etc but the size issue is valid. I think we're left to our own defenses to do trial & error. https://www.amazon.com/gp/huc/view.html?ie=UTF8&newItems=Ca8eb9fcd-a752-42da-adbc-205c4d08fc78%2C1 This amazon website has kits that contain some of the pieces. The overall cost is not too great. At least a location of buy. The size of the straw etc are trial and error. :)

what type of gear is it and where can you get all of this stuff? This should have been more detailed because it is hard to find this stuff for a KIDS project.
