How to Make a Short Fitted Sequined Skirt

Sequins never go out of style, although we aren't in the 80's ;) So why don't try and make this party-looking mini skirt? You should paired it with a simple top and you'll look amazing!

Step 1: You Will Need.

 a sequin fabric. Pins, elastic band, sewing machine, chalk or pencil, measuring tape.

una tela de lentejuelas, alfileres, máquina de coser, banda elástica, tiza o lápiz, cinta métrica.

Step 2: First Step

Picture #1 Picture #2 and Picture #3: First measure the upper hips, then mark on the folded fabric.

                                           Primero medir la parte superior de la cadera, luego marcar esto sobre la tela que debe estar doblada.

Picture #4 adn Picture #5: Now measure the hip and mark also on the fabric but lower following the same shape of the body.

                                           Ahora debes medir la cadera y también marcar en la tela pero hacia abajo siguiendo la forma del cuerpo.


Picture #6: Once you get this, mark all the shape.

                  Una vez que hayas terminado de marcar puedes terminar de dibujar la forma de la falda.

Picture #7 Picture #8 and Picture #9: Then measure how long you want to be the skirt, mark on the fabric and finish the drawing

                                                            Luego mide que tan largo deseas que sea la falda, marca de nuevo en la tela, para luego terminar de dibujar la forma.

Step 3: Second Step

Picture #10 and Picture #11: Start cutting the excedent fabric.

                                             Luego empieza a cortar la tela excedente.


Picture #12 and Picture #13: Sew the both sides of the skirt


                                               Empieza a coser ambos lados de la falda.


Picture #14 Picture #15 and Picture #16: make a hem on the waist of the skirt and sew

                                               Haz un dobladillo en la cintura de la falda y luego cose.

Picture #17 Picture #18 and Picture #19: Left a little space to put the elastic band, like you see in the picture

                                                                 Deja un pequeño espacio para colocar el elástico como lo puedes ver en la imagen

Picture #20 Picture #21 and Picture #22: Sew the elastic and then cut the excedent

                                                                  Cose el elástico y luego corta el excedente

Picture #23: Close the hem by sewing, and you're done! :)


                    Cierra el dobladillo cosiendolo, y asi lo terminas! :)
