Make a Bow

Materials Needed:

- Material (fabric, leather, paper...)

- Pen

- Glue

- Scissors

Step 1: Cut Out Rectangle

1. Cut out rectangle in material you wish to make bow out of.

Step 2: Cut Off End

2. Cut off a small piece from side of the short ends of the rectangle. This piece will be the center of the bow later.

Step 3: Draw Center Line

3. Flip so you are looking at back side of fabric and draw a center line.

Step 4: Glue

Add glue to center line and short edges of rectangle and strip you cut off.

Step 5: Fold

Fold glued edges into drawn center line.

Step 6: Pinch

Pinch center forward so glued ends touch. Then pinch back to create one more fold and bow shape.

Another way to do this is to accordion fold the material, ensuring the folds are even.

Step 7: Wrap

Wrap small strip of material glue side down to secure pinched bow in place. Trim wrap material as needed.

Step 8: Add Clip

Add clip or pin if desired.

Step 9: The End

Use as desired.
