These butterflies are fun and cute, and are great for gifts!

Step 1: Step 1: Get Your Supplies

You will need:

Origami Paper (any size, the smaller the paper, the smaller the butterfly.)

Tape ( if your butterfly tip doesn't work)

Step 2: Step 2: Fold

First fold down like in picture one. Then unfold and fold the other way, the right side onto the left side. Then fold diagonally and unfold. Do the same on the other side. Last, turn the paper over where the middle crease is and push in. You should have a triangle when you finish this step.

Step 3: Step 3: Finish Your Butterfly!

Then, pull up the two flaps from the bottom. After that, turn your triangle 180 degrees, which is upside down. Turn your triangle to the other side. Pull the bottom up and over the top (or the bottom, if you think of it) and fold down. Tape if needed. Done!
