Step 1:

Step 1: Find a circular piece of wood (got mine from IKEA for about 9-10 dollar’$.

Step 2:

Step 2: Sand the base to level down (make it smooth)- bottom of bowl should be smooth

Step 3:

Step 3: Find out where you want to have the leather straps (Based on the length of your arm)

Step 4:

Step 4: Once you found the place, you want to leave enough room for your arm

Step 5:

Step 5: Then you’ll want to screw in a screw to the top and bottom of each of the leather straps (if the screws are sticking out through the wood after wards then grind it down. (with grinder)

Step 6:

Step 6: Then if you want, you can sand it more so that its smooth.

Step 7:

Step 7: If you get it from IKEA there may be a hole in it, If so you can fill it with whatever you please, but for example I filled the hole with hot glue, but it is up to you to decide.

Step 8:

Step 8 (Final Step): Then this is the fun part, you can paint/design it however you want. (Paint with Acrylic or spray paint)

Step 9:

Idea’s:

-For example on the front of my shield I painted the BO3 (Black Ops 3) logo. - Or you can go with the original plan and paint the Captain America shield.

These are just some of the idea’s I came up with/recommend.
