Introduction: Paperclip Monster!

It's a monster or insect-type thing that I've made out of paperclips earlier today. But it's awesome- everyone I showed it to wants one now. They're really cool, fun and easy to make, and just with a few paperclips and about 10 minutes of your time!

All you'll need is 2 large paperclips, less than ten small paperclips, and maybe something to help hold it's body while you're working. (Like the funky scissors I have in that picture. I forgot what they're called!)

Step 1: Legs

Unbend the two large paperclips, and bend the end back over the paperclip. (Like in the picture.) Then, hook the two loops you made when you bend them together.
Bend the paperclips wherever you want the legs to bend. :) I usually do them about an inch and a half to two inches down.

Step 2: Body

Take 3 or 4 of the smaller paperclips, and bend them around the legs where you hooked them together. I suggest using something to hold them while you do it, or it might hurt your hands a little.

Step 3: Head and Front Legs

Take a smaller paperclip, unbend it all the way, and then bend it in half. Then slip it through one of the paperclip loops on the body. It can be a little tricky, but you can get it.
You can go ahead and unbend two more paperclips for the front legs. They don't have to be big, like the back. Then just slip them through the loops, like you did with the antennae.

Step 4: Done!

And now you're finished with your paperclip monster!
Just set it down on the desk, bend it's legs if you have to, to get it to stand right. And there you have it- people will be asking for it. Everyone wants mine!
