Introduction: Personal-Breath-Smeller (EXTREMELY EASY!!!!)

Always trying to find a way to smell your breath? NOW YOU CAN!!! All you need is a disposable straw, scissors, and some tape!

Step 1: Materials

The materials are simple for this super easy tool: scissors, tape, and a disposable straw (it doesn't matter if it is bendy or not).

Step 2: Bendy Straw

If you are using a bendy straw, cut off the bendy part. If not, you may skip this step.

Step 3: Cut in Half

Cut your straw as close to half as you can get it.

Step 4: First Half

Take one half. Make a 45 degree cut on the end.

Step 5: Second Half

Take the other half. Cut an oval out of the side of the straw about 2 thirds of the way down.

Step 6: Tape 1

Tape the 45 degree angle to the oval. You should have sort of a point that has an extended tip. The whole thing you've made so far should be a tube. There should be no closed of ends yet.

Step 7: Tape 2

Tape the tip of your pointed tube shut. Now you should have a tube that makes a type of U-turn.

Step 8: Finishing Touch

Trim off about 1 centimeter (1/2inch) of the tube on top (the one that comes off of the tube you cut an oval in). This makes it so if you put the long part in you mouth, the short part wont go into your nose.

Step 9: How to Use

Put the long part in your mouth so that the short part is pointing at your nose. Blow through it. You should feel your breath on your nose. Sniff as soon as you stop breathing. You can smell you breath! (If you think that my directions suck, then be patient. I will get pictures in as soon as I can.)
