Introduction: RGB Lantern
A quick, easy, and fun color changing with multiple modes RGB lantern.
Step 1: Gather Materials
-9v battery clip
-Resistor for your RGB led
-RGB led (mine had 3 prongs)
-Momentary switch
-Housing (I used a mason jar and it looks nice)
Step 2: Wiring Diagram and Schematic
Step 3: Begin Assembly
-Make a hole for your switch and another for the wires from your 9v
-Solder the positive from the 9v to the resistor
-Solder the resistor to the middle led prong
-Solder the negative to the pin that goes down right then down
-Solder the switch to the negative prong and the angled prong
Step 4: Modes
-Startup phase (happens when 9v is plugged in: cycles through all colors)
-Red
-Green
-Blue
-Red mix w/ green
-Blue mix w/ green
-Red mix w/ blue
-All colors mixed
-Cycles all colors
