Then draw it out to the size desired

Then cut out with a skill saw or jig saw.

Step 2: Cut and Organize 2x4s to Fit As Desired

Take a couple 6' 2x4s then cut them down to sizes to fit on your cross.

Step 3: Putting the Puzzle Together

This does not need to all fit perfectly

Step 4: Group All the Pieces

Pick pieces off the cross, then group them so the same colors aren't next to the same color.

Step 5: Paint the Pieces and Cross

Paint the pieces different colors so they don't match

Paint the cross to a color you prefer

Step 6: Re-putting the Puzzle Together and Glue

Put the puzzle back together

if you happen to glue the same color pieces together then you can take on of them and paint it a different color only if necessary
