Introduction: Scroll Saw Raccoon

Scroll Saw Raccoon

Step 1: Scrollsaw Raccoon Pattern Prep

Select a piece of 1/4" Baltic Birch Plywood 11" x 14"(solid throughout no voids)
Print your pattern out size it for 11 x 14". Using 3m 45 spray adhesive spray the back of the pattern.
Center it on your plywood and smooth out on your work piece
Using #65 drill bit drill a hole in all areas that are black as we will cut this out.
Using a #1 spiral scroll saw blade thread blade into each hole and cut the black area out.
Once all black areas are cut out, lay the cutting flat on a hardboard or concrete floor and using a torch lightly pass over the back of the cutting to remove the fuzzies on the back.
Using mineral spirits spray the pattern and let it soak for a few minutes until the pattern easily lifts off the cutting.
