Introduction: Smoke Bomb

I came up with this easy to make and awesome grenade! I couldn't try it, but i guess it'll work great!

Step 1: The Requirements

You will need-

1 500ml bottle(I haven't tried with any other bottle yet)
Petrol
Sawdust
Black powder(If you don't know how to make them or can't get them, read the next step)



Step 2: Making the Black Powder

Follow these steps to make your homemade black powder.

MATERIALS EQUIPMENT

Sodium Nitrate (75 g) Wooden salad bowl and wooden
Spoon.
Sulfur (10 g) Plastic bags(3)
Charcoal (15 g) (1) 300 to 500ml beaker

Distilled water Coffee pot or any heat source


1) Place a small amount of the sodium nitrate in the bowl and grind it to a very fine powder. Grind all the nitrate and store them in one of the plastic bags.

2) Do the same to the Sulfur and the Charcoal and store each chemical in different bags.

3) Place all of the Sodium in the beaker and add just enough boiling water to get them wet.

4) Add the content of the other bags in the wet Sodium and mix well for some time. Keep doing this so that no traces of Sulfur or Charcoal are present, or until the mixture is universally black.

5) On a warm sunny day, Put the beaker outside in direct sunlight. Sunlight is the best way to dry black powder, as it is not too hot (Forget Global Warming for a sec) and it evaporates all the water.

6) Scrape the black powder off the beaker, and store it in a safe container. Plastic is really the safest, followed by paper.

Step 3: A Grenade, No Longer Holy.

What you have to do now is that you add Sawdust in the bottle till it is about half-full. Then add the black powder (Save a little for future purposes). Add the finishing touch by adding a few drops of petrol.

Make a small wick (A rope may do) and drill a hole from the center of the bottle cap. Insert the wick through, screw the cap tightly and you have made a smoke grenade!
