Step 1: Treasured Handprint Suncatcher

The Treasured Handprint Suncatcher is easy and so fun to do. You will need a piece of clear vinyl, an embroidery hoop, washable paints, glitter, and bling gem pieces. Take the vinyl and stretch over the embroidery hoop and snap into hoop. Next paint the childs hand whatever color they prefer. Have the child place their hand down gently and make the handprint. Sprinkle the handprint with extra fine glitter while paint is wet. Let dry and then have child attach with tacky glue the little gem pieces wherever they like. Let dry and attach a string or ribbon for hanging. Looks great in a window!
