Awesome Mood Light

This awesome mood light looks great and is easy to make it also uses recycled materiel's. 

Step 1: Step 1 Hacking the Light-Saber

I found this light-saber lying around and thought it would make a great mood light as it had all the colors used in making one (green blue red). you can find these light-sabers everywhere from 2 dolor shops to bins and skips. once you have found a good one with all colors needed its time to start. find the screws that hold it together and undo them when you do that cut the led board away from the rest of the circuit and remove the tube.

Step 2: Step 2 Checking

make sure that all the leds work and fit inside the tube 

Step 3: Step 3 Assemble

i found this bit of piping in my parts bin as it fits quit well around the light tub and painted it white to make it look better any thin like this will work. then drill a hole in it.

Step 4:

using some audio wire wire all the outputs to it. Then feed it through the piping.

Step 5: Step 5 Finishing Off

Then using some Plasticine or modeling clay seal the light tube to the piping. make sure the leds are facing into the light tube.

Step 6: Finished Project

once your done you could hook it up to an Ardiuno or an Apollo Jammer.
