Introduction: How to Change Your Computer Password With Command Prompt

About: please DONT E-MAIL!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU

This will help you change your password if lost or forgotten! Or hacking! I don't suggest that!

Step 1: Go to Start

Go to start, Run then type, CMD!

Step 2: What You Type

In CMD (Command Prompt) type net user and it will bring up all the user accounts.

Step 3: What to Do Next.

Once you find the account that you want type net user then account name then space *

Step 4: Then You Are Almost Done.

then hit enter and it will say enter new password. Do that hit enter and enter the desired password again. hit enter and the password is saved. You can also start you windows PC with CMD and do this. You can also do this on a guest account.

You don't need admin password just change your account type in settings.

It will say ACCESS DENIED if you aren't computer or network admin, you have to be admin for these commands to work.

This is not working for it is saying ACCESS IS DENIED what do i do please help me.

You use the windows install disk , go to repair computer, choose command prompt option. From there save a copy of the sticky key exe (sethc.exe) for later then change the name of cmd.exe to sethc.exe. Then reboot to windows, at login hit shift a bunch of times. An admin command line will pop up (wwwwwhhhhhaaaaattttt!).

Now do you. Admin prompt is all good.

i am logged in with other account. And i Have lost my administrator password. so i tried Safe Mode with Command prompt, and i tried to run command prompt as administrator and used command Net user but it shows an error

System 5 error

Access is denied.

How to fix it?
