In this instructable i show you how to make an iphone stand out of acrylic. I made it at TechShop! www.techshop.ws

Step 1:

First you draw it up in Adobe illustrator you can do this with any phone just make sure you measure the hight and width of your phone. When drawing up the design make it 11 inches by 3 inches and make a notch at the bottom to act as the feet of the stand and it also allows you to charge your phone while it is on the stand.

Step 2:

Once you have the design drawn out grab your piece of acrylic and put it into the Laser cutter. Make sure you check the corners with the laser and make sure that the laser has enough room to make all the cuts.

Step 3:

After you have cut out the stand bring it over to the Mectech material heater. it focuses heat to a concentrated area then for each bend use then bender tool to bend the acrylic to look like the one in the picture, there should be 3 bends total
