The Farm stand is an exploration of metal panelized systems in an era, were rapid prototyping and new fabrication methods are becoming more accessible to architects and the public. The site is located in southern California. Throughout California there are many farm stands that are located on the grower’s properties, which allow them to sell and promote their produce.
The Farm stand is about perception and visibility through parametric modeling we achieved a building that promotes the farmers produce by using signage and creating connections to the farm through perforations that communicate to the public through a visual means.
