If you're already familiar with Arduino, I'd highly recommend checking out Nextion touchscreen displays. I'm not affiliated with them, but I'm a huge fan of their products. With a Nextion display, you can effortlessly add touchscreen functionality to your projects. All it takes is connecting just four pins - 5v, GND, Tx, & Rx.
