I am a classically-trained artist, my passions are the figure and portraits, Baroque painting materials and techniques, and now, animation, both hand-drawn 2D and stop motion.
Why the switch to animation? Hand-drawin traditional or tradigital animation is THE best practice for imporving drawing skills, along with drawing from a life model, and stopmo is just insanely challenging, since you have to be a one-person movie studio.
