When people ask what I make my answer usually goes something like, "Anything in three dimensions." My background and entry into serious making developed as a sculpture student. Like many artists, I support myself through making mostly non-art objects. Since April 2011, I have operated a small custom fabrication business within a maker space called Maker Works (Ann Arbor, MI / www.maker-works.com).
