A couple months ago I came across one of those flexible lamps and thought "I could screw that to my drill press". Nothing fancy here, just a 120v lamp, but it does the trick. I like what you did with the LED and shade. Very professional look
This was my first time combining a variety of different techniques. The legs were tapered with a table saw tapering jig, corners mitered, and I used this quasi Mortise and tenon on the apron. Turned out ok! This a a small-animal grooming table I made for a friend. Still unvarnished in the photo.
Grabbed the fabric and heavy duty thread on sale at Jo Anns and came out at less than 20 dollars. After everything sewed up I ran some red webbing and hung it up for a good night sleep. I added a draw string bag to one side for storage. Thanks for the 'ible
