Why didn't I think of that?!?! Great idea! I use a mortar and pestle to grind my son's medications (he gets them through a stomach tube), which can be messy as the bits of pills are always jumping out of the mortar.

Thank you for posting this! I am fairly new to pin loom weaving, having gotten a 4-inch Zoom Loom in the spring. I am just now getting comfortable enough to try different weaving patterns. The only squares I have joined, so far, were two to make a pin cushion to hold my 6-inch weaving needle, and my tapestry needle, while I work with my loom - used crochet. I will be trying this out, for sure!

Yes! Like that! You should add that step to the instructable. :o)
View Instructable »This is a great idea for organizing and recycling all at the same time. We already use toilet paper tubes for organizing smaller extension cords and other cords. These will be a great option, since they will store a little more flat, and I can see making them different sizes for different needs. Should work well for organizing stuff in the camper, too. I might try cutting a slit at each end for tucking the ends into.

How can I not vote for a real hoagie?!?! This brought back fond memories. I grew up in Willow Grove PA, and LOVE hoagies. There is something about the rolls made up there that is part of what makes them taste so good - and is lacking in the ones around here (central Texas). A friend that still lives up there told me that Amaroso's tried to open a bakery in either AZ or NM, and the rolls just didn't taste the same. My fond memories include our church youth group selling hoagies as a fund raiser for a retreat - and we gathered and made them assembly-line fashion.

Nice! I wonder if a smaller one, with a slick fabric for the lining, such as satin, and a little loop, would make a yarn "bowl." Hmmm...

I had no idea! I've not really looked at these, but saw in a Facebook RV group that some people use them in their RVs, but no one said anything about baking in them. I might have to take a closer look, now, since my RV has no oven - it just has a microwave and stove top. One of these might be just the addition I need. (And, maybe, an icemaker).

You may be on to something. Haha! However, I can see how his idea can actually organize the sections on the paper in a constructive sort of way. Something to play around with, anyway.
- calichigal commented on Ham-made's instructable 16-Page Disposable Notebook EDC
Yes! But only after I posted my comment. I checked out your page and went to it from there. Fun!Haha! A support group! I'll be in it, for sure. As I was writing my original comment I was thinking about the countless notebooks I have, still waiting to have their pages filled with ideas, sketches and thoughts. Perhaps I will endeavor to fill 1 page each day with something. Anything. Just see what happens.Janice:o)
View Instructable »I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one who doesn't like to desecrate notebooks/sketchbooks by actually using them. I am also a big scrap of paper user, mostly recycling received envelopes or any other sheet of partially used paper. And yes, they're everywhere. This is a great idea, as is the one suggested by a couple of other commenters, which ends up more like a booklet. Each has its place and use. I'll be sharing this one with my husband, who is also a note jotter and list maker.

Thank you for posting this. I have often wished I could do this, but never paid attention to the icons that showed up when I highlighted things. I have a Kindle Touch and a Kindle Fire. After testing your instructions on my Fire, I decided to check it out on the Kindle for PC app on my laptop. Yep, that worked, too, using the mouse/curser, instead of my finger, since my laptop doesn't have a touch screen. Thanks, again!

I'm guessing: the one with long leaves might be a stripped Dracaena, and the one with the smallest leaves might be a creeping fig. The other one escapes me. If you are on Facebook, there is a group of plant enthusiasts who LOVE to ID plants (Plant Identification and Discussion).

Love this! I am new to crochet, so the simpler the better. I really want to make this!I am confused about one thing. On the last round (Step 3), you have "after chaining to every new gap." I think of chain stitches as not attached, such as the chains to create the first stitch in a new row of double crochet, or the ones creating the little points of your snowflake. I am already familiar with using a slip stitch to go from one gap to another. Looking at your pictures, it looks more like you used a slip stitch to go from one gap to another. However, as a new crocheter, I may be just totally confused. Please help.
