I'm new to 'making' but have been super-interested in these types of things for ages and never did anything about it. I work for a company that makes high-end optics and that got me re-interested in working with my hands and some creativity. So I bought a 3D printer...and some Raspberry Pi stuff...and some Arduino stuff...and some stuff to build a robot...and the list goes on. Now I need to learn how to use it all.
