It worked! We had a snow day Sunday and only access to a CVS next door. I took an old pair of pants I was going to recycle, heat up my glue gun and bought the cheapest shoelaces. See my first feather. Thanks!
My 7y.o. son made his own. My daughter had an idea to add feathers to the tips of a drawstring of a water bottle holder she's making, out of the same poor pants :-)
Thanks! I'll give it a try.
For someone's too lazy to setup their sewing machine, would it be good enough to to stretch a piece of yarn and drip superglue on top? I'm also thinking about craft activity for my kids.
Thank you.Since your comment, I saw this term in many places. I submitted the latest version with it in the title.
Impressive. Did you try to frost glass with this? Can you use quikrete sandbox sand as medium?
What kind of air compressor are you hooking up to this? Sorry, my shop is only electric, but I'm considering shifting to air pressure tools.
How about adding some cream of tartar as a preservative? I read somewhere that's how you make longer lasting playdough, which is basically a thicker version of this recipe. Or would that ruin the texture of the paste?
White glue is supposed to be water resistant once cured (polymerized).
Yeah, although usually Challah is parve, which means no butter or milk. Milchig Challah limits your meal to dairy/vegeterian only, unless you don't observe kosher. On that subject, a dairy-free Brioche idea?
I love the idea and simple instructions. When I saw the instructable at first, I thought it had a resin centre. Did you think about using resin instead of glass?
