Some of those larger pieces of marble would make a great candy/pastry making board! Marble is great for making pie crusts, puff pastry, brittle, etc. You place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes and it stays cold so the fat in the pastry doesn't melt.

I would bake this in a ban marie - set it in a larger pan and add hot water half way up the glass dish.

These look good and simple to make. In the U.S. we would call these coconut macaroons (not to be confused with the French variety!)

Is apple molasses the same as apple butter? Here in California, molasses is the product of making white sugar.

You can use cream of tartar also. Use 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon per 1 cup of milk. Let sit for 10 - 15 minutes and then stir.

I do have to try these! They remind me of Mexican Chicken Enchiladas. It shows how foods are similar across cultures.

I love a good grilled cheese. I like to mix my cheeses, like smoked gouda and a mild cheddar. If you like extra crispy sandwiches, use mayonnaise instead of butter. I also like to sprinkle garlic powder on the mayo. It gives it that garlic bread taste!

I would add a drop instead of a bead. You could add one at each end!
Wow! I gotta try this! You could also cut a piece of clear acetate or plastic from a package that will fit into your frame to protect the photo.
