Wish Lantern USA was founded in 2008 after the company owners first saw traditional “khoom fay” being launched in mass ceremonies at a honeymoon in Thailand. They were so captivated by the idea of the flying lanterns they brought them over – initially to the UK – and then to the USA as Wish Lanterns.
