during 2008 and 2009, the Fed dealt with a lot of criticism. Judging by their actions so far in this crisis, the Fed chairman, Jerome Powell, and his colleagues would choose to concentrate on supporting the credit markets by buying and underwriting baskets of financial assets, rather than providing to private companies. Unless we are ready to let distressed corporations collapse, which could emphasize the coming downturn, we need a method to support them in an affordable and transparent manner …
