Introduction: Owl Costume
white triangular shaped feathers, with brown feathers, brown fringed pants, and a feathered owl face hat. layer brown at ends and work up with white. trace shirt pattern on dark brown and draw half circle from wrist to waist for wings, and layer a few feathers at top mid and bottom section. tail is wavy feather shapes measured on the dark brown at the end of the shirt. glue the whole back of the shirt to the wing pattern you just cut. decorate as you want, i layered neutral floral type print and brown to make a tail. brown floral brown. its a great costume pants were strips of brown and glued on at the top of the strip so that i could cut the fringes after all the strips are glued on.

This is awesome! Yay for hot glue! I was just thinking that sewing all of that would be so hard.
I'd love to see a photo of it on - the wings look really neat!
