Rubik's Cube With FEET!

Intro: Rubik's Cube With FEET!

Solving a rubik's with your feet is just like solving it with your hands.

You want to pin the cube down so it won't move when you turn the side.

You solve the white cross first, then you solve the rest of the white layer.

Then you solve the middle layer.

Last but not least you solve the last layer. The last layer is the hardest of them all.

Once done, the cube will have 9 sides, each with their own individual color.

Thanks for reading!!!!

Along the same lines as seamster's comment, it would be helpful to have a step-by-step with photos. So, make the video, but then do it again and stop and take pictures at key points.

For example, you mention solving the white cross first. So that could be the first step, with a picture and a brief explanation of what that means and why it's important.

Next, you would show the white side completed. Then the next step, and so on.

Solving the cube with your feet is great exercise for your toes. Another way to exercise them is to spread a towel out on the floor and then scrunch it up by grabbing it with your toes and pulling in towards yourself. This was a therapy exercise my doctor gave me to do a long time ago. It might be a good place to start for people who can't manage the cube.

Cool idea for an Instructable.

I never did figure out how to solve my Rubik's cube, and went from being my favourite toy to being the toy that I hated the most. I know now that there was a specific order to do the steps in. And that it never worked because my brother messed up my cube by peeling the stickers off and sticking them back on in the wrong spots so that he could pretend that he solved it.

This looks tricky!

Can you add a little bit in the way of physical instruction? Are there any specific techniques you use to make it possible to turn the cube with your toes? Any toe exercises you would recommend? :)

I'm sorry about the audio. I filmed this on my kindle, then had to film my kindle. So no audio. The turning of the cube is quite hard because the cube will press an the floor and will lock up. On thing that can help is if you turn the cube to an angle so it can turn freely. As far as toe exercises, just solving the cube will do. Thanks for the comment. This is my first instructable ever so it's nice to know that people are noticing me. Thanks!
