Introduction: Solar Tracker
Some electronic systems are autonomous energy, and powered by batteries. Photovoltaic cells convert solar energy into electrical energy to maintain the charge level of the batteries, to optimize this function it is important to orient the solar panel always in the direction of maximum illumination. Directing the maximum illumination should be automatically done, and that is the purpose of this project.
An LDR (light dependent resistor) provides analog signal treated by a microcontroller (the LDR secured to a rotary motors), after processing the data, the program controls the motors to position the sensor in the most favorable direction, where the solar panel and sensors will be perpendicular to the light.
