this is a cheap and simple tazer gun made using the amazing flygun (available from this website for about $10 AU) and a disposable flash camera.
its range is about 6 metres with the string on but a lot more without.

Step 1: The Charger

Im sorry I have no pictures for this but ive already finished the charger and I didnt have any spare cameras.

you wil need:
-1 disposable flash camera
-scissors
-a plastic handled screw driver or something like that
-duct tape or some other strong non conductive tape
-a marker

1) prise the lid off the camera with the screw driver.

2) find the capacitor (it looks a bit like a battery). notice the two wires conecting it to the flash circuit.
fing the side of the capacitor with a grey line and writing then mark that side were the wire meets the circuit board.

3) use the screw driver to short out the two wires (MAKE SURE YOUR HAND IS NOT TOUCHING THE METAL PART OR YOU WIL GET SHOCKED).

4) cut the capacitor off leaving equal wire on both sides. put it aside for later

5) there should be a triangular metal button somewhere on the circuit note where it is then cover the circuit board with duct tape.

6) hold the capacitor to the circuit where it was originally attached. hold the button down until the charging noise stops then touch the capacitor leads to a nearby piece of metal. if it sparks you have completed your capacitor charger

Step 2: The Projectile

first take your amazing flygun and unscrew the squasher bit at the end. then tape up the end until spring cant come out. then tape on the capacitor. you will have to extend the string or remove it or the projectile will jump back and zap you.

a good way to test this part is to fire it at a carboard target covered in alfoil.

this is my first instructable, comment if you have any ideas on how i could improve.
