This is a list of my favorite things that I take to school! I learned this from experience and was tired of searching school and not finding anything I needed! check out the "how to get good grades" instructable too. Note: If I have copied another instructable, I would like to apologize. I could not find a list of what you need for school, and if someone else has made one, it was unbeknownst (spell check?) to me.

Step 1: Binder

The binder I use is a "proplatinum" binder with a mesh pouch on the front, a pocket under that(zipper is on the side) and has a velcro strap that holds this and that then flips to the left revealing 4 pencil pockets, a see-through film for index cards or something and a "snap rivet" for attaching your keys, it works great. Mine is a 11/2 inch but get the biggest you can find. Inside it has an expanding file and 2 pouches on the right. it is black and I love it. Sorry I couldn't find a picture, and i don't have a camera.

Step 2: Pencils and Lead!

Now, I have two favorite woodcase pencils, and two favorite mechanicals. I like the papermate Mirado black warrior, it has wonderful smooth writing and a fantastic feel to it, and if you are a weirdo environment nerd like me, there is the papermate earthwrite,which is 100% recycled wood and has a nice dark lead. My two mechanicals are the papermate Apex 0.5 mm and the "foohy" mini mechanical pencil in 0.7 mm. I love the mini because it is very low profile and fits in my pocket easily. I love the apex because of it's metal accents and stylish feel, plus it has a long twist eraser. THE best lead is pentec super Hi-polymer lead. It is GREAT. Lasts longer than I any other lead I've ever tried. Ever.

Step 3: Pens! Gangsta!!!

Ok, pen time.....I like the G2 retractable gel pen by pilot alot! If you like comfort and style, then buy the G2 pro. I use both, and both rock. Of course, there are some (idiotic) teachers that don't allow clicking pens. If not, then use the (bic?) profile, the *smoothest* pen ever. The main pic is the G2 mini, if you are low profile and are Ultralight. I can never find pics! I've tried to find a good G2 pro picture all day!

Step 4: Paper!

Just go your own way here, just go out and buy a pack I guess. I don't really have a favorite so, just try your own thing.

Step 5: Erasers!

I recommend a scented eraser for passing time in class,(and getting high) but don't buy one if you have to focus to get through class. Also, I like the foohy erasers that are scented. Try to buy something fun, that you can use to pass time in class. (sorry no pic)

Step 6: Tips

try to stay organised. Yes, I know your mom won't buy this junk for you but you have to persevere.
Also, some tips on being cool at school, try to have a duct tape wallet. Awesome lookin. Also, buy a "KRAZR" cell phone. That is pure gangsterness. and DEFINITELY have an Ipod. DO NOT JACK YA PANTS UP! It is not cool to have a bad hairdo like me. I swear I never have a good hairday. Also, above all else, have a girlfriend.

Step 7: Pencil Sharpener!

The BEST pencil sharpener EVER is the X-acto buzz. The sharpest point I have ever seen on a pencil. It is kinda big, and electric. It runs on 4 AA batterys and I am truly sorry for no pic.
