Lesson Overview:

Now we're going to create the main shape of the moon.

Step 1: Create the Main Shape

Instructions

  1. Start by placing a sphere near the top left corner of the workplane.
  2. Make the sphere bigger. Scale the sphere on all axes. To do this, hold SHIFT + left mouse click on a white handle (White handles are circled in red in the image below), and drag the mouse. Increase the size to about 250mm.
  3. Change the color of the sphere to grey.
