Extend bag strap with a belt
The Pentagram is not a Satanist symbol, since its origin's from pagan religions. Satan is an image created by monotheist religions such as Christianism, Islamism and others. Therefore, the pentagram will never represent evil or Satan unless it becomes westernized. What it does represent is the balance between one's Spirit and the four elements that surround us; Air, Fire, Water and Earth. There are even some mentions in western culture that claimed it a protective symbol against diseases. Unfortunately, the Pentagram has become one of the most stigmatized emblems due to TV and Hollywood, and our gullible society. Regards!
Love the look! Great idea and very good instructions. Thank you.

My Granny's Homemade Tomato Sauce
My grandmother does the same thing, she always have a lot of tomato jars ready to give. I live abroad and every time I come back she always have some jars ready for me :) She make two kind of sauce: the same as your granny and a traditional one (nom nom nom). Thanks sharing this :)
Well, there are all sorts of beliefs and all sorts of religions. Some may find some things offensive or distressing, some others may not. It's all a matter of personal choices, beliefs –or lack thereof. This symbol does have many different meanings, depending on what source(s) you look up. I personally like how it looks and some of the values it suggests. If you don't like the pentagram, you can use another symbol instead - or none at all.
Don't mean to be a spoil sport or a downer or anything, but you put the Satan symbol on it, and that's kinda distressing! It's an awesome idea though, the whole wand thing, but maybe a little less pentagrams?
The Neverending Story Book-box
Hey, nice work! They look new, it seems you've bought them! Using cork is a clever idea! I'll try it when I need to restore another pair of sandals. Thanks for the tips, they are very useful. And also thanks for the picture, I love to know this tutorial is useful and helpful :)
I'm glad you wore able to fix it! Foam is probably a bit more solid in the long term. Maybe it also depends a lot on the kind of glue you use. Thanks for the info, I'll keep it in mind :)
Yes, that's true! Glad u like it! Thanks for the comment :)
Thanks! Yes it is! I had the same feeling when I finished it :p Long live PotterMetalHeads!
Glad you like it! I love hex nuts and I use them to do plenty of things and.... why not a magic wand! :p Thanks for the comment :)
Thanks! The cork went on well, though I quickly learned that craft cork can chip where it isn't solidly glued, or over hangs the edge of the sole, especially on the toe of the shoe. Fortunately, I was able to touch up the glue, and re-sand the edges. Your use of the foam is probably easier and possibly more durable in the log run.
It's so industrial! it's perfect for a PotterMetalHead :P. Love it. Definitely gonna try.
Thanks! Glad u like it :) I would love to see your Grimoire. If you make one, please upload some pictures.
