PV solar panels sized to fit a car will only provide a minimum of charging. A better place is on the roof of a house or a garage. At my place, I have rather poor solar access, so I installed a swing-set where the sun does shine with a solar panel on the roof for EV charging. https://www.instructables.com/id/Solar-Swing-Set-PV-Playhouse/
