Introduction: No Bake Microwave Mug Brownies

About: Obsessed with getting the tastiest food with the least effort necessary.

Okay, you have to admit, just about everybody loves a dense, warm, chocolatey serving of delicious brownie goodness. I'm such a fan that there have been times when I could think of little else; sitting on the train, in a boring meeting, walking the dog…you just never know when the need for brownies will strike!

Well ladies and gentlemen, like me, you no longer have to suffer from spontaneous brownie panic. I've created an easy, two-minute Mug Brownie that will Blow. You. Away. It's super easy, can be dressed-up to look fancy if you're throwing a small dinner party, and is made from some simple ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen cabinet.

So get cracking! Life is short! Eat brownies!

Step 1: Five Easy Ingredients

What You’ll Need

1 egg

4 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp oil

1 tbsp flour

2 tbsp cocoa powder

…..yep! That's it!

Step 2: Mix All Your Ingredients Together

Yep. I'm serious. Just mix 'em together.

If you're really methodical, you can follow the video order:

Beat the egg, then add the sugar, oil, flour, and cocoa powder.

Mix it well, but try not to overwork it.

…that's it. Really, I promise.

Step 3: Microwave It!

Place mixture in the microwave for 1 minute and 40 seconds at 700 watts. Keep a watchful eye on your mixture, being careful that it doesn’t burn. When the top looks dry, the brownie is finished.

You can eat your brownie as soon as you like (just don't burn yourself in your brownie-induced frenzy)! However, if you want to decant your brownie onto a plate and make it look fancy, allow it to cool to room temperature first.

Step 4: Serve, Eat, Enjoy!

You can sprinkle your brownie with some powdered sugar for effect if you like, or try coming up with your own creative twist. That is, if you can resist the temptation to gobble it up!
