Introduction: 2 Notepads From One

Have you ever just wanted a pad of paper? Something to take notes on. Here's a cheap way to get all the scrap paper you need.
Be careful people. Power tools involved.

Step 1: Assemble Materials, Prepare Wire and Cut Book

Tools needed: mitre saw and wire snips.
Get a 8 1/2" x 11" spiral lined notebook from a dollar store. Cost: $1
1.Using the wire snips, cut the wire of the note book in the center.
2.Carefully twist the two pieces of wire onto themselves leaving the center of the notebook clear of wire. Make sure there is no wire in the path of the mitre saw. The wire could damage the saw blade.
3.Using your mitre saw, cut the note book down the center. Voila! Now you have two lined 8 1/2 x 5" note books.
