Introduction: 3 DIY Face Masks

Hello and welcome to my Instructable! I will show you how to make three incredible face masks using simple ingredients you probably have at home. We will be making an avocado-yogurt mask, a coffee mask, and a lemon face scrub. Your skin will definitely benefit from these masks! So, enjoy :)

Step 1: Avocado-yogurt Mask

The first mask we will be making is the avocado-yogurt mask, which boosts the hydration and dew factor of your skin. This is what you will need:

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 teaspoons organic honey
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • a bowl
  • a sharp knife

First, spoon out the content of the avocado and add it to the bowl. Then add the tbsp. of plain yogurt and the two tsp. organic honey. Next, mash up the avocado by using either a fork or blender. Stir the ingredients together until you have created a creamy mass.

Fill it into a mason jar....and you're already done!

The avocado-yogurt mask should best be used up within one or two days and stored in a cool place. Keep the mask on your face for around twenty minutes and then rinse it off and moisturize.

Step 2: Coffee Mask

The second mask is going to be a coffee mask. It is exceptionally beneficial for people with uneven skin tones and who feel tired often.

This is what you will need:

  • 25g coffee
  • 25g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • 2 teaspoons organic honey
  • bowl

To make the mask, add all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir for two minutes to ensure that you have a creamy paste. If you feel like the mask might be too thin, add a little coffee or cocoa powder. The coffee mask should be used up within a week and should be kept on the face for five to ten minutes.

Step 3: Lemon Face Scrub

The last mask is a lemon-sugar scrub. This face scrub is great for dry and blemished skin.

These are the necessary ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon organic honey
  • juice from 1/2 a lemon
  • 25 grams of sugar
  • bowl
  • fork

First, add the olive oil and organic honey into the bowl and mix it well for around 1 minute. This prevents the oil and honey from forming clumps. Next, add the remaining ingredients and mix everything using a spoon or fork until you have a thick paste. The face scrub should be massaged on the face for around two minutes and later rinsed off. Do not store it for longer than two weeks.
