Introduction: 3D Printed Single Bearing Fidget Spinner

About: Sorry, kid, its been done!

While looking around the internet, I tried to find a cool fidget spinner body that only used one bearing. When I was searching for a simple, minimalistic fidget spinner, all I could find were cut-away designs based off of the original three-bearing spinner, so I made an easy, single bearing fidget spinner that almost any 3D printer could fit.

Here it is.

Step 1: Making the Wave

I wanted a sleek and one-piece design that only used one bearing, so as to make it readily available to anyone who wanted it, and came up with what I call the SpinTeck Wave. From the top view, there are only two edges: the inner bearing holder and the wavy outer edge.

Step 2: The Printing Process

After completing the 3D digital model in AutoCad software, I printed it on my FDM printer*, fit the bearings very tightly into the center hole, and had a super small, sleek, fidget spinner

*If you do not own a 3D printer, 3D printing services (like Shapeways, 3D Hubs, etc.) can print the part for you.

Step 3: The Included Files

Remember, the files you get from here are the intellectual property of SpinTeck.

Step 4: Version 2: the Wave 2.0

I made The Wave 2.0 after deciding to revise the first model, and some notable changes are:

-The length of the spinner

-The outer edge (It is now filled)

-The curvature and basic shape of the spinner

I hope you like it!
