Introduction: How to Make Apps Work on an Android Car Radio
Have "incompatible" apps running on your android powered car radio without much difficulty.
This works well for users with android car units who want to listen to audio through their favorite podcast/audio app.This is a solution to the "not compatible with this version" warming you receive when you try to download and install an app from the Google play store to your Android device.

In the event you need a walkthrough, I have included a video with the steps below:
Step 1: Launch Google Play Store
Head over to to the Play Store and search for the App you need.
When you see that it's not available or a an alert says it's not compatible, find a "TRUSTED" APK site and search for the App...

*Word of Advice from a Follower:
Be very mindful of where you are downloading those APK files from. Be sure you are not granting permission to access personal data like passwords and credit card numbers. If you give someone access to all your traffic via these files they can, with a little time and knowledge, do unscrupulous things. So be very careful!
Step 2: Launch the APK Installer on Your Radio
You should have an APK launcher installed on your Android device.
If not, find the location where you downloaded and Installed the APK and tap and launch it from there.
Step 3: Proceed to Installation
When you've found the location of the file, as mentioned in prior step tap to launch.
This should be done in less than a minute.
Step 4: Choose a Location for the App to Be Installed
These devices are not big on storage therefore I would advise that you install these Apps on an SD/MicroSD card.
Step 5: Your App Is Now on the Device and Functional
Check that the App is functional.
In some cases (rarely) you may need to reboot your Android Car Radio after the installation process.
Step 6: Ready for the Road
Now you can enjoy your favorite Podcast or Internet Radio App.
