Introduction: Arduino LED Ultrasonic Sensor

The LED Sonic Sensor is referenced to Interfacing Ultrasonic Sensor With Arduino.

The difference I added is a LED.

This is the LED Ultrasonic Sensor. When the object gets close to it a LED will become brighter. It can help you perceived a note of something or someone move nearer to you.

Supplies

  • Arduino Leonardo (You can also use Arduino Uno)
  • Breadboard
  • Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04
  • LED
  • Resistor 220 Ohm
  • Male-to-male Jumper Wires
  • Male-to-female Jumper Wires
  • Corrugated Fiberboard (Or other decorating materials
  • Plastic box (Or other materials)
  • Double-sided tape
  • Cutter
  • Tape (Not necessary)
  • Foam tape (Not necessary)
  • Clay (Not necessary)

Step 1: Circult and Code

Connect everything to Arduino as shown in the picture.

Note:

  • VCC – > 5V (red)
  • TRIG – > 11 (yellow)
  • ECHO – > 10 (orange)
  • GND – > GND (black)
  • Other jumper wires (green)

Step 2: Outer Case

Put the circuit board in a plastic box. You can also use other materials for the outer case.

Step 3: Insert the Sensor and LED

Drill two holes on the lid of a plastic box. Put the ultrasonic sensor and LED in.

Step 4: Firmly Fixed

I used foam tape, tape, and clay to snap on wires.

This is an unnecessary step

You can do it if you like:)

Step 5: Decorate

Decorate it whatever style you like! I used red corrugated fiberboard.
