Introduction: Bacon Jalapeno Wraps
Delicious BACON wrapped goodness!
Stuffed jalapeños with cream cheese slammed into a golden grilled cocoon of BACONY glory!!
Step 1: Get Your Stuff~
You will need:
About 2 dozen Jalapeños
1lb. BACON
2 packages of cream cheese
Toothpicks
Grill
Please rate if you enjoyed this!!!
Step 2: Pepper Prep
Wash 'em off.
Cut the ends off and clean the seeds out of there.
Step 3: Fill 'em Up
Take those bad boys and load them up with cream cheese.
I let the cream cheese sit out while I was prepping the rest to soften, it's easier to fill.
Step 4: Bacon Time!!
Cut your BACON in 1/2.
Wrap it around the filled pepper and stab it with a toothpick to hold all this BACON wrapped glory together.
We're ready for the grill!
Step 5: Grilling
Line your grill with aluminum foil.
Cover it with BACON wrapped peppers.
I cooked mine for about 30 minutes total - 10 minutes or so and then a turn until the skin on the peppers starts to get wrinkly and your BACON looks so good you can't wait any longer.
GRILLS~
If you have a gas grill it doesn't take any time to heat up and get ready BUT
If you're working with charcoal you should fire up the grill when you start these and it should be ready about the same time you're ready to start grilling.
Step 6: Enjoy!!
Sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious BACON wrapped grilled stuffed jalapeño.
You've earned it.
Please rate if you like it!!!! Thanks~~

Oh so delish! I added 2 minced garlic cloves and about 6 finely chopped sundried tomatoes to the cream cheese. The next time I made it with finely chopped red onion and fresh minced basil leaves. Never grilled this before, but it brings a whole new dimension to a old fav! Thanks.

As for the mixing stuff with the cheese, not yet. It's come up, I haven't figured it out just yet, I'll keep you posted when I do though!!!

I have a friend whose husband buys spicy breakfast sausage (Jimmy Dean, Bob Evens), browns it up, drains the grease, and lets it cool. Then he mixes it with the cream cheese and stuffs and wraps away. MMM-MMM-MMM.

Those look great, and the most part appear to be low-carb which is great for the diet I am currently on. I think I'll pick up some jalapenos on the way home tomorrow and complete this recipe. -Thanks
