Band Powered Car

Introduction: Band Powered Car

In this Instructable I will show you how to make a 3D printed Band Powered Car. In the next step you have the Fusion file to print the car.

Step 1: Print and Assemble

First you have to print all the parts and then put them together as shown in the . I have put a strip of rubber from a bycicle so the wheel grips better to the floor.

I have left the Fusion file in this step for you to download it.

Step 2: Play

Then you have to get a rubber band and but it from one side of the car to one of the tubes that has a part sticking out. Then turn the wheels to tense the rubber band. Finally put the lid on and let go. You will see how the rubber band loses itself and at the same time turns the wheel round!

I think your next project can be a band driven 3d printed plane. I saw one make from wood and paper in my childhood.
