my project is a reading light that is powered by batteries my project was inspired by a youtube video I saw about people making things with batteries tin foil and a car port charger.

design thinking is a process you need to do before creating the first model so you can get an idea and design you're first prototype correctly. it Is important because it helps you get an idea of what you are. creating and will help you develop the first prototype.

Step 2: Step 2: Discovery and Interpretation

empathy fits with design thinking because you need a lot of empathy to understand what you're user wants and what they really need.

my user is my mom.

the interpretation phase is when you need to solve the Users Drivers and Constraints that are the users needs and the challenges you need to solve.

What were the drivers and constraints that came from the interview? the drivers from my user were that it needed to have More battery time be Lightweight Look good Last long and Work well.

Step 3: Step 3: Ideation

ideation is when you draw a lot of models to get an idea of what you are going to build

Step 4: Step 4: Prototype

I first started the design planing sheet and planned my whole project and got a good idea of what I wanted to do I then started the discovery interpretation and ideation stage to plan perfectly what I was going to do then I went and bought the materials and started working on my project I failed 2 times because the light bulb was broken until in the third try I finished my project and tried to make it look nice.
