Introduction: Best Toothpaste Eva
For many years I have made my own toothpaste. Here is my latest and greatest recipe.
Step 1: Ingredients, and Drying Mint for Base
The ingredients for the recipe are:
- Dried and ground mint
- Calcium
- Bentonite clay
- baking soda
- himalayan salt
- coconut oil
- Vitamin E oil, 25 drops
- Spearmint oil, 20 drops
- Peppermint oil, 10 drops
- Myrrh oil, 10 drops
- cinnamon oil, 5 drops
- clove oil, 5 drops
I have lots of swiss mint in my garden, so I picked a handful, then dried and ground it(by putting the leaves in a bag, then lightly hitting it with a measuring cup)
Step 2: Add Dry Ingredients and Mix
- The ground swiss mint and calcium tablets
- ground finely in a magic bullet
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of Bentonite clay
- 1/4 tsp of himalayan salt
- mixed well
Step 3: Add Wet Ingredients.... and Mix!
- 1 Tbs of coconut oil
- Essential oils
- Vitamin E(25 drops)
- Spearmint(20 drops)
- Peppermint10 drops)
- Myrrh(10 drops)
Step 4: Bottle and Enjoy
My favorite method is to pour into a glass spice bottle as pictured above. This way, a tooth brush can be inserted easily.
Your teeth will be super-clean, whiter, and as mineralized as this and your diet will take you. I am 45, have no cavities, fillings, never experience tooth freeze.. just saying. : )

Cool! Do I absolutely need all of those oils you mentioned? Btw, at the end of your instructable I think you meant to say cavities instead of calories, just a heads up

Thanks!(changed - I shouldn't write 'ibles so late at night!)
What oils did you not have, maybe I could suggest some other choices?

I have all the other ones except for myrrh oil, got any suggestions? Or maybe I could omit it

Myrrh oil is very thick and musky and expensive... leave it out and it'll probably taste better. : )
