Bio Luminare

proudly present my bio luminaire desk lamp a beacon of innovation crafted from an unexpected mixture of pulped paper, egg cartons, and flour. 

Supplies

Egg Cartons, Flour, metal strainer, Tea grains, Oil, 2 mixing bowls, DXF Template,

Step 1:

Soak the egg cartons using 1 of the bowls for 2 to 4 hours.

Step 2:

After 2 to 4 hours, use your hands to shred the egg cartons to be finer than before

Step 3:

Using the strainer, strain the egg carton, drain most of the water and place it in the second bowl

Step 4:

Add 2 cups of flower and tea grains in the bowl and mix with the egg cartons

Step 5:

Mix well until it is similar to clay or pulp, and if the material is still too wet add 1 cup at a time until you achieve the desired material

Step 6:

Coat the DXF template with oil and add the material to the DXF template. wait for 5 days to completely dry

Step 7:

Assemble the light, start by assembling one piece at a time, and when half-way done add your light fittings. then continue with the assembly.
