Introduction: Blueberry Compote Pie

I decided to make this pie and made it with some help but it is a simple pie to make and it had a very good outcome. One of my best pies that I have had if you like a tart flavor.

Step 1: Ingredients

Crust

2 ¼ C Graham cracker crumbs about 36 squares

⅓ c Sugar

8 tbsp melted butter

Pie

7 C. Blueberries

1 tbsp lemon rind

⅓ cup lemon juice

1 tsp cornstarch

Step 2: Make the Crust

crush 36 graham crackers and put it in a pie pan then add in 8 tbsp melted butter in it to keep it together. Then you put in ⅓ c Sugar to add some extra taste to it.

Step 3: Make the Pie

grab 7 C. of blueberries and put in a strainer and run water through it. Rind 2 lemons and put in the lemon juice with the blueberries in a pot. Put the blueberries and lemon juice on the stove and add whatever spices you want for more flavoring we used cinnamon for example. then after cooking it so that the blueberries aren't burnt but good and then take it outside to cool. for like 30 min.

Step 4: Mixing the Crust and Pie

Once the pie has cooled bring it in and make sure it is cool. If it is cool put the blueberries in the crust that should be in a pie pan. flatten it to make it look as good as possible and then add 1 tbsp of lemon rind to add some tart flavoring in it.
