Introduction: Blueberry Scones

In this instructable, I will show you how to make blueberry scones! Scones are cake-like biscuits where you can put almost anything in.

Step 1: Gathering Ingredients.

In this recipe, you will need

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons sugar

5 tablespoons unsalted butter ( It should be cold and cut in small chunks.)

1 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

1 cup heavy cream

Step 2: Preheat the Oven

The first step in any baking recipe is to preheat the oven. In this recipe preheat the oven the 400°.

Step 3: Making the Dough

You're going to need to sift together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.) if you don't have a sifter you can use a fork to mix it all together. Once you've sifted together the dry ingredients cut up the butter and mix it in the dry ingredients it should look like coarse crumbs. Now you should make A well (hole) in the middle of the batter and pour in the heavy cream. Next, you should fold the blueberries into the batter be careful you don't crush them (fold the batter with a spatula take the batter from the bottom and move it on top. Fold the batter until it is all mixed together.

Step 4: Baking

Now you need to mold the dough so it is in triangle shapes. Place the scones on a cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. To check if they are ready to poke a fork through one and if it comes out clean then it should be ready.
